Registered Nurse – General Practitioner (GP Clinic)
Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – General Practitioner to support daily clinical operations and deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages. This role involves assisting the GP in examinations, patient management, and health education.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Practitioner during patient consultations and examinations
- Take and record vital signs, patient history, and presenting complaints
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for procedures
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as prescribed
- Perform basic clinical procedures such as wound care, dressing, and sample collection
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards within the clinic
- Coordinate with laboratory services and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Experience in a GP clinic or primary healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-interaction abilities
